The Integrated Project (IP) SECOQC (Development of a Global Network for Secure Communication based on Quantum Cryptography) was submitted and approved under the leadership of the business unit in the Sixth Framework Program of the European Union. With SECOQC the last hurdles are to be overcome for a successful introduction on the market.
