| LASER - Pump laser diode at 405nm: |
In principle, the options are short/long coherence length of the pump laser and high/low-power option. Details about the effects of the coherence length are covered in Appendix I. Depending on the typical needs of the customer, those possible options are available:
[LCLP] Low-coherence length + low-power:
- The optical bandwidth is incoherently broadened up to 0.5nm (depending on the output power) and the output power of the laser is 20mW.
[LCHP] Low-coherence length + high-power:
- The optical bandwidth is incoherently broadened up to 1nm (depending on the output power) and the output power of the laser is 100mW.
[HCLP] High-coherence length + low-power:
- The coherence length is >1 meter and the output power of the laser is 10mW.
[HCHP] High-coherence length + high-power:
- The coherence length is >5 meter and the output power of the laser is 40mW.
Customer owned pump laser:
- In that case the customer intends to use his own 405nm-laser system, we offer this option as well. However the SPDC will be optimized for the system at 405nm by using a fixed set of interference filters. The optimal beam-diameter at the focusing lens is D=2mm. Due to a critical dependence of the wavelength, we can not estimate the quality or amount of generated pairs for a set of different input parameters or other laser sources.
