Advanced Image Processing – Algorithms and prototypes

The following algorithms and prototypes show addition modules, which are available on PC or for further development and cooperation.

Ultrawide Tracking

Extremely stabile tracking of vehicles can be achieved using innovative tracking algorithms and involving the camera geometry. The demo video shows stable tracking within varying lighting conditions.

Ultrawide Tracking

Positioning/Driving Behaviour

The position of every single vehicle is detected and tracked. Transferring the measured positions into the world coordinate system allows a visualization of the trajectories in a specific map. Specific driving behaviour can be detected.

People Tracking

New tracking algorithms using generative models show stable tracking of objects of variable shape even in partial overlap.

Traffic Data

Vehicle position and speed is detected. Additionally, the lanes, the lane changes and further traffic parameters can be measured.

Matching

A person is tracked from one camera two another. Please note, that the viewing fields of the cameras are non-overlapping. Correspondences are achieved using geometric constraints. Image feature correlation is not used in this example.
