| MMS - Multi Media Storage |
The MMS application software serves to store video data streams. A multi media query interface allows search and retrieval.

- During storage data streams are filled in one or more data segments, each of which can be designed as ring buffers (newest data overwrites older data) or permanent buffers. The memory requirements of the recordings are determinded by several factors such as desired quality, image rate, form of recording. Storage time and period as well as data source can be configured and controlled via the MMS interface or the
Advanced Video Codecs - AVCs interface. - Retrieval: The stored video sequences can be retrieved at any time and from any work station within the network via an application (client-server architecture).
MMS is designed to manage several simultaneous requests from various clients. This has no effect on recordings being made at the same time. MMS is an application which can be started on any network station within the network. The software allows
- management of up to 255 cameras
- highly optimised storage (e.g. 100 channels with 2MBit/sec)
- multi retrieval
- extention with additional channels
- open interfaces for external applications
High reliability can be taken for granted!
