Smart Multimedia Streaming Tools (SMST) are a set of software components for multimedia applications that can be easily integrated. SMST are optimized with regards to performance and video quality including real time navigation for AVI-streaming.

• Client: PC based flexibe RTP streaming client with UDP multicast and unicast support. The standard version is optimised for simple use. The extended version has its focus on performance and quality.
  
  
• Server: PC based RTP streaming server for live streams with audio and video multi-codec support. Also supports streaming from AVI and WAV files. The integration of other formats is easy to realise.
  
  
• Splitter: ActiveX component to multiply single unicast RTP streams realising the simulation of multicast functionality in networks, where multicast is not allowed or desired.
