Multi-spectral inspection of quality and high-security prints

Seibersdorf bank note inspection systems are in use in 25 countries on four continents. The optical examination of numbers is a particularly important component of the quality inspection.

New methods for character recognition on a structured background were realised in 2003 in a number examination system with world-wide unique capability characteristics. Numbers and characteristics on bank notes of diverse countries of origin can be read with the highest reliability and their print quality examined.
