smart systems xposure - 100 kHz color linescan camera

Ever mounted 1000 linescan cameras with 4 screws?

One xposure camera is sufficient. Immediatly you choose and use one out of 1000 virtual linescan cameras. The smart systems xposure camera family is the first using CMOS area image sensors to realize high-speed color linescan cameras - only with the patented MX method: 100 kHz linerate, 2352 pixel line width, color.

xposure

To achieve optimum exposition and low signal-to-noise ratio – in combination with high line rates – the xposure family uses the patented Multiple Xposure (MX) method. MX extends the effective exposure time by acquiring and accumulating of several time-delayed images of one and the same object point. The result: improved signal-to-noise ratio, optimized sensitivity, variable exposure time - in color.

In addition all xposure cameras can be switched easily between a linescan camera mode and an areascan camera mode. This feature simplifies mechanically adjustment during the setup of the linescan camera by the possibility of electronic adjustment. Normally 2 cameras have to be used (1 linescan camera + 1 areascan camera).

Features like the automatic correction of lens distortions let the xposure cameras be an economically attractive alternative during the design of complex inspection systems. In addition the camera is able to process images application specifically whereby following system components can be down-scaled.

The xposure camera housings are very small. The modular construction design enables application specific customization regarding the current components (e.g. sensor-chip or interface). Current objectives fit by using C-mount or F-mount adapters.
