Innsbruck: Automated Tax Management System

Rathaus Innsbruck

The system was developed according to the specifications of the client, who required a scalable, stable and automated tax management system to be implemented into the existing administrative process.

The main core functions cover

  • Administration of municipal tax notices including the collection and maintenance of master data and tax-specific data (e.g.: property taxes, self assessment taxes, annual duties, riparian taxes...)
  • Administration of loans
  • Charges for secondary claims (e.g. extra charges for late payment)
  • Management of day-end closing
  • Cash management
  • Various evaluations (e.g. quarterly evaluations)
  • The data necessary for tax notices or tax collection is transmitted via electronic data transfer to the personal account management and data from the personal accounting is transferred back to the municipal tax system (e.g. fact book, Federal computer centre)
  • Authorization and role administration for the organisation and employees
  • Administration of an automatic output of tax notices and tax reports as well as the data security management.

All core functions were realised as modular subsystems and can be easily extended and adapted to new legal general frameworks.
