Treatment of dermatological pathologies often requires regular monitoring of the disease progress. Hence, we developed a dermatological, mobile phone based telemonitoring system. It supports patients in recording therapy-relevant data as well as pictures of lesions. The attending physicians can use this information for individual therapy optimization.

The system was developed for optimizing the therapy of psoriasis. We evaluated the feasibility and usability within a clinical study in collaboration with the Medical University Graz.
