We developted a web-based therapy management system with mobile phone access to support obese patients. The technical feasibility, usability and acceptance of the therapy management system was investigated in a pilot trial.

The system was further improved in an Austrian follow-up project with therapeutic intervention of patients with cardio-metabolic risk (obesity, Diabetes mellitus, hypertension, dyslipidaemia).
