We developed a multifactorial blood pressure management system (MBM) based on a long medical experience and latest monitoring technology. This telemonitoring system enables individual and lasting therapy management of patients with hypertension.
We developed a web-based eHealth system with health terminals for autonomous reporting of demographic and blood pressure data for epidemiological assessment of health effects. The system has been used in the course of the Styrian State Exhibition “Wege zur Gesundheit” (Paths to Health) to acquire blood pressure and related health data together with geographic data from more than 16.000 individuals.
